Urban TV Host, Humphrey Wampula Introduced By Soldier’s Daughter

Some men have balls, and Urban TV host, Humphrey Wampula is a living proof after he managed to snatch a Lieutenant General’s Daughter. Over the weekend, Wampula drove all the way to Rubanda district to meet the parents of his girlfriend, Faith Diana Kembabazi.

Kembabazi is the daughter of Lt. Gen. Jim Oweyesigire, a former commander of Uganda’s Air Force. Despite all this, Wampula was not scared of the missiles, he picked up his confidence, placed it in a bag and soldiered on into the lion’s den. According to those who attended the ceremony, Wampula finally proved that he too is a General. Because the time that he first approached Kembabazi, everyone thought the nigga was trying to ‘kwetulisizza Akko boomu.’

The young couple in their campus days

“I used to thing that guy with his baby face was a coward, man I was shocked. We are all yet to recover from the shock,” said Tasha one of his close friends. Wampula and Kembabazi begun dating about four years back when she was still at Uganda Christian University, Mukono in 2014. The two later worked together at Vision Group and would even share bylines in the Swagg pull-out.

It all started with Wampula’s famous pick-up line where he suggested to host Kembabazi on Teen City while showing her all the movies he had reviewed in Kampala Sun. Of course, Kembabazi could read through the lines, but she was blown away by his confidence. “Can you imagine he even told her that if she accepted him, together they would be the cover feature of Swagg magazine?” Tasha narrates.

Two weeks back, Wampula proposed to Kembabazi and instantly changed his profile picture to reflect this. Again, few could take the hints. They say behind a successful man is an equally confident hard-working lady. Wampula found his jewels in Kembabazi.

Being the jolly dude that he is, Wampula claimed that he was searching for the source of River Nile which he believed was somewhere in Kabale or Rubanda. But his Jinja mates told him the source was in Jinja. Wimple kept insisting. “Now we know what he meant by the source of River Nile, he was just looking for his heart,” Tasha continues.

Kembabazi studied at St. Lawrence College Paris Palais. Rumour has it that actually Wampula had spotted her much earlier during the many visits he made to this school as part of his TV shows. He saw his future and started plotting how to feature in it.

Wampula’s introduction has been a big knockout to the top Kampala bachelors the likes of Salim Segawa and Steve Odeke. They still can’t believe that this man has left them to attend to their beers alone. Like how could he just leave the bachelor club without informing the necessary parties. Segawa is in shock and was spotted moving in panic strides at the Media Plaza in Kamwokya in murmurs saying he too will get a wife before the year ends. He even wanted to launch his wedding meetings only to be reminded by Canary that he can’t launch meetings before he finds a lady. Segawa has thus vowed to camp in Jinja during the Nyege Nyege festival as a way of finding his rib or ribs since he is a Hajji.

The men of Kampala officially welcome Wampula to the table of men. He is now allowed to raise his hand and make submissions during these gentleman meetings. We are reliably informed that Wampula is now planning a multi-million wedding before the year ends where two international acts will perform.

Congratulations once again to the Wampulas. See what love does, it has now brought the East and West together.
